About: Dr. James D. Toppin

Dr. Toppin graduated from New York University College of Dentistry and then completed two residency programs. The first was at Long Island College Hospital and then he continued his training at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens. He opened his private practice in 1994 and moved to the present location in 2002. Aside from maintaining his practice, Dr. Toppin is also a full time Clinic Assistant Professor of NYU College of Dentistry in the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Pathology, Radiology, and Medicine and is the director of the Special Needs Clinic at the College.

In 2009, Dr. Toppin completed his masters in business administation with a focus in healthcare administation at  the Zicklin school of business at Baruch College. He and his team received the Eugene Feldman Award for Outstanding Jury Project 2009, "Center for Patients with Special Needs".
